In less than five years our world will have mutated into an endless information highway. But, as we exchange literary computer caresses with our internet flirt in New York or Tokyo at night, our bodies and brains experience a digital piercing caused by the machines and our internal structures are reorganized and reconditioned. As our fingers glide over the keys, our central system links via the mousepad into the operating system of our machine. And as our eyes rest on the screen, the system boots a new virus into our synaptic links once known as "the soul".
